Working on additional pieces

As well as my projected imagery being part of my installation - extra acetate pieces will be used as collages on my OHPs (black/white prints).

I want to arrange these as extras to cover the OHPs or to decorate the walls.

So after lots and lots and lots of consideration I think that the best thing to use as a base-cover for my installation would a type of translucent material - similar to what I've been using in developmental pieces.
I feel this worked the best really as it captured the clarity of the image as well as working to make it seem slightly see-through so it reflected the idea of memory and unconscious thought. Also working with the floaty materials I am using for my screen-sheet for my second projection.
It seems more feminine and personal to use fabric rather than thick paper, plus easier to fit into a particular space without becoming an clashing eyesore with the wooden panelled floor.
Below are some examples of me using the fabric for the floor piece.

I will have to tack the fabric to the floor - obviously get a better quality material first! I am interested in using the fabric as it will be easier to include fragments of items and bits of grit/soil I want to add to the piece to further enhance the atmospherics.
