Layering and creating

Exploring the concept of the mind being trapped within the restrictions of the body - locked up and held within. Leaking through, coming out in image and words.

I have been using photoshop to edit my images to see how they would look when layered - however this will not be how I use them as I want to work with layering acetate images to create a similar effects. The use of projection of the acetate layered images will create a sense of levels in my images. I am interested in these effects to express the theme of entrapment and separation. Literally exploring the brain being emptied and drawing an audience into the space.
